Hudayriyat Island Project’s masterplan in Abu Dhabi has been unveiled by the leading developer, renowned for specializing in the creation of dynamic communities, Modon Properties. As a whole, the development is a key contributor to the actualization of Abu Dhabi’s strategic urban expansion vision. According to an official statement from Modon, the project aims to serve as a groundbreaking milestone. More especially, in regard to the region’s expanse and scale advancement.

Quite impressively, the Hudayriyat Island Project spans 51 million square meters. Aside from being equivalent to 53.8% of Abu Dhabi Island, the colossal development boast a spectacular allure, stemming from its prime location as well as natural surroundings.

Hudayriyat Island to consolidate Abu Dhabi’s global status as a leading place to live

While commenting on the project, the Chairman of the Department of Finance said that it strives to consolidate Abu Dhabi’s global status, especially as a leading place to live. Its elevated position rests on two surrounding hill communities, 45 and 50 meters high, respectively.

Thus, Jassem Bu Ataba al Zaabi noted that the project’s high-end residential communities will feature panoramic 360° views of the city. Furthermore, it will also include the largest urban park within the region. In addition to a 220-kilometre-long network of cycle tracks, alongside a wide range of other sports and leisure amenities. 

Taking it a step further, the development adheres to a progressive global model of sustainable living. This, in turn, will enable the project to further enhance the region’s urban landscape diversity. Additionally, it will result in the creation of a highly coveted living environment for visitors and residents, alike.

With an aim to embody the city’s futuristic vision, the development’s exciting internal destinations will include Surf Abu Dhabi which aims to open by the end of 2023. Additionally, the Hudayriyat Island Project will also feature, Velodrome Abu Dhabi, which is set to launch in 2025.
